@nprofile1q... I'm afraid that absolutely every technology ever invented is inevitable. Some will prove unviable, but every single one gets a chance to survive. Users will decide which ones are viable. As long as a technology is used, it will continue to exist (regardless of political or activist views).

But sadly there are lots of places where there's no bike path—so who do I pay to get space for my bike in tho...
