I asked Venice if this were developed into a real distro, what would set it apart... It said the following.
Unlike Manjaro or Endeavour which add convenience, Anarcho Linux would subtract governance entirely.
Key features:
- No systemd. Not replaced with runit or OpenRC - just nothing. Each process is a sovereign entity responsible for its own destiny. Boot sequence is a voluntary association of daemons.
- Package management via distributed hash table. No central repos, no trusted keys. If you can seed the tarball, it is legitimate. Cryptographic anarchy applied to software distribution.
- No installer. You receive a kernel, a compiler, and a copy of the Anarcho Manifesto. The "guided install" is a single command: "figure it out."
- Security model: Root access is mandatory, sudo is abolished as a hierarchical oppression tool. All files are 777 by default - if you want privacy, encrypt it yourself. Personal responsibility only.
- No version numbers or release schedules. Time is a spook. You build from master whenever you feel like it, or you don't.
It would last three weeks before fragmenting into 400 incompatible forks, which is exactly the point.

From the time you are born, your very birth is documented by the state with a birth certificate. Shortly thereafter, the state assigns you a citizen tracking number (commonly called a Social Security Number). Years later, you are given another state tracking number called a "Driver's License," which then tracks any vehicles you own via registration and a license plate. Every year, you are compelled to file where you work, and how much money you made. Until you finally die, when the state certifies it with a death certificate.
This doesn't include a single shred of digital tracking they also do, and yet even excluding the digital tracking, I cannot say that the above is indicative of a free society. And you can't either, no matter how badly you may want to.
From cradle to grave, the state monitors your existence with mass surveillance tools, and has done so since before technology made it MUCH easier for them to do so.

This was solved years ago by Filecoin/Storj/Sia/whatever.
Filecoin doesn't automatically encrypt anything, and files are not fragmented. Anyone hosting a filecoin node can technically try to manipulate your data if a user isn't careful. Filecoin isn't something you'd want to use if you have sensitive data you want backed up.

Business idea: Truly private off-site cloud data backup.
- Users can create an account with just a username and password.
- 2FA integration with other FOSS solutions
- Payment with XMR accepted.
- Non-Crypto payments obviously require applicable identifiable info to process
- User data is encrypted locally prior to being uploaded to company servers
- Uploaded data is fragmented and randomly stored across several servers, the number and specificity of which are random,
- Software is all FOSS (front end and back end), and company encourages auditing of it.
- Company encourages and allows independent 3rd party audits on site to verify claims of user data privacy
- Service available on clear net, Tor, and I2P
- Duress decryption passwords allow users to immediately destroy all backups and account info if necessary.
I have no idea how to implement this, but the fragmenting of user's encrypted data would ensure:
1) The company literally has no ability to see users private data
2) LE cannot subpoena or seize any user's data from the company since they have no ability to provide anything
3) truly private off-site data backups are available to anyone who wants to get rid of Google, Dropbox, etc.
All of this is technically feasible... But is practically illegal in the "land of the free." The US government will essentially make the owner of such a company into another Ross Ulbricht.
