That guy that only texts you when BTC is down? Yeah that’s not your friend bro that’s your enemy.

After years of telling my very good friend and decade long colleague how absolutely fucked the fiat system is, (and basically shilling him Bitcoin without shilling him Bitcoin), he swung by yesterday and voluntarily started asking about my view on geopolitics and if this was a good time to buy..

After we talked for over an hour about bond math, geopolitics, US debt, the end of globalisation, Japan, and how absolutely cooked the whole system is, he pulled the trigger and finally bought his first chunk of Bitcoin. He’s down 10% and he’s not even 24 hours into his btc journey..

I guess we’re enemies now 🤣

If you thought Bitcoin mining was energy intensive, just you wait until half the Western white collar workforce figures out how to deploy a couple of AI agents to brute force their trivial day to day work tasks..

Thought of an interesting way to show what is happening to people in social media by hooking my AI agent to my old X account. Here is a copy what I’m putting on my website in the morning to expla...

That sounds awesome, Jeff!
I’ve heard about agents and an “AI stack” for a while now.

The only interaction with AI that I know of is typing prompts at it on a website.

If I were looking to get started on this agent deal, can you (or someone else) give me some clues on how to get started?

Thanks! 🙏🏻

Ok, let me clarify the premise. As I said on the show, I’ve never been against owning equity. I’m the largest holder of Strike and one of the largest holders of XXI. I own a ton of equity. My c...

I think, at the core, tough guy’s question didn’t really have anything to do with you owning equity, but more with XXI being a publicly traded company.

If you already own a fuckton of bitcoin, and you’re going to build new bitcoin products by yourself, why take the company public and sell it on the market? Maybe tough guy thinks thats unnecessary?

Anyway, not a professional keyboard warrior, just my 2 sats. I think you handled it well and I highly enjoy the show, I hope you do too!
The unscripted/raw bits are what makes it fun! See you next week! 🤙🏻

hope that’s the case but i’ve been noticing this pattern for the past few months. there’s definitely a correlation with bitcoin’s price. nostr is a pretty saturated place for bitcoiners and price action clearly affects how people show up and behave here.

Someone has to stop killing people first. Of all we do is say “sure we killed some people, but now their sons want to kill us, so what can we do but kill their sons too?” Then this never ends. Lit...

What’s often overlooked is that there is a giant cultural / ingrained difference between the western and the Middle Eastern man.

For centuries, the civilizations in/from Europe had to plan, think and strategize in advance to prepare for coming winters. This led to fixed settlements close, and people remained in one place for most of their lives. Through this development, we ended up with a rule of law and authority in the form of judges.

In the Middle East, this was much less the case. There was a much bigger nomadic aspect to the people, which meant no fixed homes, and down the line: no judge to call on in case of dispute.

So essentially, when people tend to disagree, in Europe, they would call upon an authority to settle the dispute. The Middle Eastern man, however, would take matters into his own hands and settle it himself. I believe the term “an eye for an eye” also finds its origin there.

This way of thinking trickles down into basically every aspect of how life works and results in giant differences in morals and values between the people nowadays, and this is completely overlooked when the Western man judges the current events in the Middle East or vice versa.

At least, that’s my 2 sats deduced from my history books..

And by no means do I mean this as an endorsement of violence, I just wanted to point out that the cultures are vastly different, and judging one through the lens of the other is pointless.

For sure. It’s a positive outcome in the end 😂
