"When tyranny becomes law, rebellion becomes duty." - Thomas Jefferson

My toots smell like lemon-lavender, with golden bergamot, burnished lotus, and ambered cedarwood. Follow along for a multitude of scentiments and odoriferous opinions on almost anything.

I pretend to blog.

Kernel panic is just another name for making popcorn on the stove top.

@nprofile1q... Which reminds me of when I was a small tike and wanting to help my mother pop popcorn on the stove top. I watched intently as she placed a pot on the burner, added some oil and about 3 kernels. After turning up the heat she explained that she would know when the oil was hot enough when those three kernels popped. I asked if I could help with the next step; pouring in a cup of kernels to really get the show going.
She handed me the cup and I held that handle with both hands while peering into the bottom of the pot. Waiting. Waiting in anticipation.
POP! went the first kernel and I jerked that cup of corn kernels so hard it launched them into the air and down to the floor!
Did you know that popcorn kernels bounce? And more than one time?
Did you know that popcorn kernels roll out of sight under appliances?
My mother was finding kernels for years.

I was sitting in a quiet, shady spot, Saturday morning on the UM campus. I eventually was aware of a single, small bee that buzzed into a crack on the edge of the sidewalk in front of my perch.
This bee carried something small and green upon entry. Maybe part of a leaf? He would then bolt away. He came and went many times, always bringing his green spoils. I didn't see any heavy traffic, so I think he was working alone.
What is all this #bee business about?
