@nprofile1q... There will definitely be a lot of families with 3 generations represented. I was an older dad. I was still a newlywed in 1992 the last time I saw them. I just became a grandfather for the first time in February. We definitely indoctrinated our kids, mainly on the 1980's Rush, and my daughter was pissed at me that we never took her to see Rush when Neil was still alive. She was motivated to buy the tickets. If it was up to me, I would have financially chickened-out on buying tickets.
@nprofile1q... Yup in San Antonio again. They've always had a large fan base down here, so they always seem to come through here. I've seen them 3 times, but the last one was 1992. I think it was the Roll the Bones tour. I've "sat on my hands" since then. Hard to believe it's been 34 years. Damn....it's gone by pretty fast. I know that I won't be the only grandpa there though.👴
@nprofile1q... I thought is was an unusual choice for the first song live, in public. It has those drum breaks, and tempo changes that you need to be a really tight band to pull-off. I thought they were pretty good with room to get better. It's also kind of a tough vocal for Geddy to perform at his age. My daughter and son-in-law got us tickets to see them in September. I guess I raised her right. My ticket this time is only 30 times higher than in 1981. 😭
@nprofile1q... I remember getting a Mr. Potato Head kit when I was a kid. I played with it for a while, then put it away, and I had a rotting potato in my closet.
They later went to a plastic Mr. Potato included in the box. I'm sure that was a result of a lot of rotten produce found in kids toy boxes. With today's produce prices, you couldn't do it.
@nprofile1q...@nprofile1q... Nice....The city does "bulky item" pick-up twice a year, and I've been amazed at what my wife has pulled off of the piles left out in our neighborhood. As a matter of fact we scored some vintage speakers that way one time. They are exactly like these Sansui SF-2 omni directional end table speakers in the picture. We have been using them for almost 20 years.
@nprofile1q... Mine wasn't orange, it was creamy-white. It may have been the Odyssey 200 come to think of it As far as gaming, it wasn't much better than a kitchen gadget.
