@nprofile1q... Idk if this counts but my first fashion memory: 13 y.o. me in Montreal, my first real city. Underground shopping mall. I had gotten a small bump in my allowance to buy souvenirs. I saw a pale green cotton overall jumper with matching button-up shirt and promptly, blissfully, blew the wad on it. The farm kids back home thought I'd gone to outer space. No memory whatsoever of the brand or store name, just the realization that I would never be content in jeans and tshirts again.
