I just lost the 1 BTC I spent the last 10 years carefully accumulating.
Ten years of discipline.
Ten years of saying no to luxuries.
Ten years of watching charts at 3 a.m., of eating cheap, of missing opportunities just to stack a little more.
And just like that… it’s gone. Drained.
I’m not going to pretend this doesn’t hurt. It does. It hurts in a way that’s hard to put into words. That stack wasn’t just money. It was proof that I could build something over time. It was my quiet win against a world that constantly tries to take everything from you.
I know a lot of people will scroll past this. Some will make jokes. Some will say “should’ve used a hardware wallet” or “you were reckless.” Maybe they’re right. But right now I just need a little empathy. Not advice. Not lectures. Just… understanding that this shit is heavy.
I’m not going to lie and say I’m fine.
This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to face.
But I refuse to stay on the ground.
I’ve been a fighter my whole life.
I’ve started from zero before.
And I’ll do it again.
Day 1 starts now.
No more excuses. No more self-pity. Just the same quiet determination that got me that 1 BTC in the first place. I’m going to rebuild. Brick by brick. Sat by sat. Even if it takes another 10 years.
To anyone who’s ever lost everything they worked for: I see you.
This pain is real. But so is the strength that comes after.
