But I never mentioned using exit nodes or going to non-onion sites. The whole point of my post was that going to the .onion site would hide your ip. You completely misunderstood that a tor endpoint is a .onion. You thought the endpoint was an exit node. That is wrong. How was I wrong?

NO it doesn't lol. They see the TOR exit node. This is how banks and other websites block TOR

What are you even talking about? When you connect to a .onion, the server you connected to only sees a connection from localhost.

So it's like a vpn for your relays. Interesting that the description only pitches it as a tool for bandwidth reduction, when it also obfuscates your ip from relays.
