I just updated to macOS 26 and guys!!! Liquid glass is actually one of the most useless user interface visual effects I've ever seen. You don't even notice it a lot of the time and it doesn't appear _too_ different compared to the previous blur effects so a lot of the resources needed for this are essentially wasted. The only thing I like out of this redesign is that the interface is a bit less flat but other than that, this whole redesign is useless!

@nprofile1q... It really is! I used it for a fair amount of time to sync my fairly large local music collection between my computer and phone and it worked really well! That and also Obsidian notes. Managed to get a pretty good multi-platform thing for calendar/tasks before I discovered Caldav.

@nprofile1q... hmmmm friction as in if you want to add something new to the page, you've gotta do a _bit_ of extra work to get it done. At least for me, that's where I've found myself putting such page updates off for a while 🥲 🥲 but that might just be me.

@nprofile1q... I haven't played The Hundred Line LDA but I've heard its quite similar in terms of writing/characters to the Danganronpa series since it's by the same developer.

I'd recommend giving the first Danganronpa game a try (it's on PSP >:) ) if you're in the mood. It's like 80% visual novel and 20% phoenix wright.

@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... Haha for sure. Void is def on the more minimal side and does need a bit of post-installation work but I found it to be fairly faster than other Linux distributions; even with a heaver DE like KDE Plasma!

Also unrelated, but are you able to run any kernels above 5.15 without issue?
