I was all dressed up and ready to go to work today, bravely preparing to face the rain with my tiny umbrella.

Just as I was about to step out, I herd a beep pViber notification from our HR Department Manager:

Reporting to work is not mandatory due to the bad weather, blah,blah , blah...

Well… as a law-abiding and obedient employee, I immediately put my bag down, changed into my house dress, and officially clocked out of my “working woman” mode. 😂

Next mission? Laundry.!
I gathered my mountain of clothes, brought them to the laundry shop, bought some food and snacks for the day, and decided to simply chill.

And now, while writing this, I just woke up from an afternoon nap, enjoying a cup of coffee ☕ with my favorite Presto Creams with peanut butter filling.

Sometimes, we really need to pause.

Because sometimes, the most productive thing you can do is rest without feeling guilty about it. ❤️

Just a little green to brighten the day. 🌿💚 Sometimes, simple things bring the most peace.

A little mother-and-daughter escape in the heart of Manila.

My daughter and I spent some quiet time exploring the Japanese Garden at Rizal Park. The peaceful surroundings, beautiful trees, and traditional Japanese-style gate made our simple stroll feel like a little trip to Japan without leaving Manila. 😊

Sometimes, the best memories are made during the simplest moments together.
