People in Iran still don't have Internet.

The government went on TV today and spoke directly to mothers and fathers. They saidit's their fault if their children are killed if they defy the government. If anyone says anything in support of the enemy, they will be shot.

Loud Iranians supporting the war are intimidating the ones who don't support the war.

So maybe you are confused why you're hearing that Iranians are happy right now. Some of them are.

The ones who understand U.S. history are very worried and unhappy. And specifically patriotic Iranian *Americans* oppose this unconstitutional war. Because Trump is acting like the Ayatollah. Without congress.

Please, let's all be rational as we consume information about a "group" of 90+ million in Iran and 5+ million diaspora.

Most people do not want to be bombed.

right now I feel very confused, seeing Iranians and Iraqis celebrating that they are being bombed and at the same time people celebrating that they are already bombing Israel, because right now what I feel most is that in reality this will not benefit either side or the other.

If Trump can pull a Venezuela off, then this is the best possible thing. There is no peaceful resolution, and we have seen thousands die doing the peaceful thing. We need to purge the world of evil and its not going to be easy or pleasant.

There are members of the diaspora on Nostr as well but no one actually knows each other. We need real, existing communities to join on together. So information can regularly flow.

Two years ago I tried to get some activists with hundreds of thousands of followers to join and they simply said they didn't have the bandwidth to learn a new app.

So they desperately post 50 times a day on IG now while they get shadow banned.

We are unfortunately just far too early.
