Can we trace the rise in spam on bitcoin blockchain with the prevalence of Grant funded developers?

Where I'm going with this is that people are earning money in a system that must be a free market. If you are working on something that wouldn't otherwise be profitable, chances are you could be doing more harm than good.

As someone who has benefited from grants myself, the work is mostly uneconomic in nature. Sure, it is good work and maybe fulfilling but I'm not sure it has a place in the free market.

How does bitcoin fix fractional reserve banking when the clear trend is people favoring keeping it in a trusted third party (i.e. a bank).

That's not what I'm getting at. While being confident in the viewpoint is necessary I'd much rather be confident on a well thought out, and true position. Just being confident in "HFSP DYOR NGU" isn't the look.

I mean that you can just give a simple explanation about how the nodes secure the network and how the supply is capped. Then if they say but that doesn’t prove it’s decentralized and will keep going up. Thats when I’d confidently say okay let’s see. Because when people over explain or try to...
