🫴🏿 SOLIDARITY SUPPORT – AMISSE PEDRO
In July, Amisse Pedro was the victim of a physical assault that left him in a coma for nearly 15 days. He underwent head surgery, resuscitation, intensive care, and several hospitalizations. For a long time, he was unable to speak or walk and had very limited movement, eventually developing sores from being bedridden.
🙏 Thankfully, he is now in recovery and has been back living with his family for about two months, but he still requires constant care.
Amisse lives with his mother and brother, who have no financial means and are unable to work because they must take care of him. Through donations, it was possible to secure a proper bed, a wheelchair, transportation to medical appointments, and food — but the support is still not enough. The house urgently needs roofing sheets due to the rains.
The attackers have been identified, and in parallel the family is pursuing the case through the justice system: 1 is in prison, 2 are minors (16 years old) who are free but have already been heard, and 1 is still a fugitive. Amisse is 16 years old.
