The main thing to look for is the ability to easily copy the address from the wallet to your EXISTING profile. Some other wallets are also easy to set up, but they create the new nostr profile (key pair) for you.

The absolute easiest way is to download @Minibits wallet, and create a new random identity. You will have some random email assigned to it. It serves as lightning email you can just copy to your nostr profile. And you're good to go.
I'd just start there. Worry about setting up a wallet for larger transactions later. This simple setup can go a long way.

Unless they publish proof of reserves and info about issued tokens, you trust its backed 1:1, as you do with any custodian.
So, in theory, we could be sending worthless zaps to each other here on Nostr?
Apart from #cashu mints being custodial and having the ability to rug pull you, who prevents the mint to double-spend?
Is there any mechanism that can verify the mint has an actual backing for issuing tokens or can they issue them out of the thin air?
