This is false, unless you are pushing 10,000 notes/day and 100GB of media and still it should cost less than $5/mo
I will take it serious. I just need to find a provider who sells VPS anonymously using cryptocurrencies in Iran. All providers are required to ask for ID/National number and phone number and use your own bank card to buy a service. So it makes trouble.

Run your own relay. Its interesting to note that zeabur also has a service running inside the GFW of China for their people.

I was thinking of it but it needs a lot of resources to run a relay. However I will take a look at this solution.

It seems we are losing access to the internet. It was so hard for me to break through censorship and internet blockage to come here and write this note. I hope there is an active Nostr relay hosted in Iran.
