A lot of people don’t like bitcoin because they think they’re too late and missed the train. I believe that it’s never too late for hard money. Comparison to what other people have is not helpful.

I’m not so sure he’s wrong. What’s interesting is that his argument against the ideology presupposes the investment case.
I guess if you think bitcoin is flawed because of its fixed supply then you could believe he’s not wrong. If you think the money supply must expand as the economy grows I don’t know why you would like bitcoin. I think that means you’re wrong personally.

Michael Green’s recent Substack “Bitcoin Is Not Sound Money” was thought-provoking. Unusual in that he acknowledges the investment case for bitcoin while challenging the ideological case.

I do know what you mean and I know I’m in the minority here, but I really don’t think this is an important issue. This is asking for special treatment. Bitcoin doesn’t need special treatment to succeed.
