So @nprofile1q... is now posting stories with AI slop pasted in?

That's what this reads like to me:

https://www.theguardian.com/business/2026/mar/09/average-uk-office-attendance-settling-at-highest-level-since-before-covid

Specifically, check out the para after "The rate in Glasgow had been edging towards 30%, and exceeded that in the latest week after several years of lower office attendance." ,
which reads like a straight copy/paste of some ChadGPT output 'facts'.

@nprofile1q... honestly, it’s not so bad. It’s annoying when it quickly locks into a guessing game, then your back is against the wall, but ones like this it’s good in the sense you can only then guess the correct answer, as nothing else is valid, and it’s then more like a crossword clue. That ‘oomph’ one was like that, but I gave up as I just couldn’t see it at all 🤣

So how does she know there are 150,000 people a year who legally should or could be deported anyway?

And what are her policies to deal with the fact that after they are gone there will still be rampant inequality and a pissed off left behind lower class who are angry that the economic gains are always funnelled up to the richest?

“There was a period, somewhere between stockpiling toilet rolls and Boris Johnson declaring everything was back to normal, when we had plans to learn lessons from Covid. Vaccine creators and scientists were going to be lauded. The social safety net would be valued; the NHS and key workers finally appreciated. There was some progress”.

Indeed. All quickly forgotten in the race to resume the race to the bottom that is the status quo.

@nprofile1q... aye, pensions are horribly complicated and I imagine a tiny percentage of the public have much of a clue about it

Like I say, the fundamental issue is it's simply not affordable for a lot of people to save as much as those who do the calculations advise. There seems to be no effort made to accept this basic reality on the part of pensions and savings experts and government. I don't even think just taxing the rich more is enough to address it either. Whole basis of the system is rotten.
