Happy bitcoin pizza day fellow bitcoiners!

This particular day adds a lot of perspective for our common idea, it reminds us of the protocol's humble beginnings. On this day I personally try to appreciate the pioneers that led the way and took the first steps at embodying the protocol as a monetary system, at their expense (10k btc!!!!).

I contamplate how the future is going to look like and wish that the prioneer's sacrifice needs not be repeated at least in the same magnitude.

However, number go up theory implies the sacrifice will ever be present. I wonder if the protocol will ultimately achieve its goal with this implicit requirement of everlasting sacrifice.

Is eternal deflation really ideal money?

As a bitcoin maximalist, I believe that all of us need to make the Bitcoin idea stronger by deliberately searching for and finding weak points, and so make it better (some autocritical thinking).

This is why have a question for Mr. @Saifedean Ammous, or anyone else that can provide a satisfying solution of course.

How do you reconcile Milton Friedman's idea of a currency that has 0 inflation (in relation to productivity) with Botcoin's 0 monetary supply?
