Recently celebrated my birthday. With each passing year, and the growth of Bitcoin and AI, I find myself focusing more and more and more on health and longevity.
We have perfect money. We’re staring down a future of more abundant possibility than any generation before us. The number one goal is increasingly just stay healthy, fight aging, fight for a call option on that future.
I did not know that! Makes sense though. His writing, particularly the earlier stuff has a lot of depth. And I think the theme of returning is definitely a salient one. Check out the songs “racing in the street” and “something in the night” from the darkness on the edge of town album. They’re like early Terence malick films in song form. The sense of small-town desperation. Hope and dashed dreams. Middle-aged resignation. All very poignant.
