very different. this is a developer tool primarily. if i'm running something on my computer and i want to expose it on the internet publicly (very commonly needed when developing stuff) this tool can easily do it.

just deployed https://github.com/fatedier/frp on my homelab. does everything ngrok can do but for free. really cool tool.

Agreed. Funny, I was actually trying to vibecode a new linux-based mobile OS that could run on Pixel devices. Made some decent progress. Could boot cuttlefish emulator. I think big projects like this are going to become more possible this year.
