A few days ago, two brothers of life regained their freedom after enduring unjust imprisonment in Venezuela, simply for speaking up and denouncing the reality they were living under.
For defending democracy. For telling the truth in the face of a narco-dictatorship.

Today, I was able to speak with them on a video call.
A deeply emotional moment, one that reminds you why we keep going.

Long live a free Venezuela. 🇻🇪

Quiet miles.
No algorithms. No rush.
Just showing up and doing the work.

That’s not what this is about.

This project is open-source and focused on protecting people, not promoting governments, wars, or regime change. Tools don’t take sides, they give individuals the ability to communicate, organize, and stay safe.

We work with human rights defenders from very different backgrounds and views. The common ground is simple: no one should be persecuted for speaking, organizing, or existing online.

You don’t have to agree with everyone involved to support open tools and basic human rights.

Grateful for this experience at AI Hack for Freedom.

A few intense days building alongside people who truly believe technology can be a force for freedom not control. Open source, human rights, and real-world impact, all in the same room.

Huge thanks to @nprofile1q... for creating the space, and to everyone who showed up to build, question, and push ideas forward. This is how tools for freedom are born.

We’re excited to introduce what came out of this work:
