Aug 9, 2026 @ 20:00 (!!!) Good evening family & friends❣️ It is a cool evening, rain may be moving in. Looks like it anyway. I slept most of yesterday instead of doing any of the things I had planned. Then through the night last night. And all day today. At this rate the crud should be gone shortly, I would hope. Oh. Here is something. I was sitting here just now - a few minutes ago - about 3' from my meyers parrot Elliot's cage, in which he has lived for 11 years. And he popped his door open. Just like that. Never done it before. All kinds of hazards, we have the front and back doors open (they have magnetic split screens up the middle, not very secure), and Bojack was sitting right here. Bojack typically ignores him but whenever I reach into a bird cage he starts barking. So I don't consider him trustworthy with my feather babies. Anyway, there is now a heavy clip on his door. And red-bellied parrot Maxwell was watching. So I'll be clipping his door shut too before I go back to bed. They have always been, for 25+ years, partners in crime! Speaking of bed, that's where I am headed. This will be a busy week but I will talk about that tomorrow...hope you had a good weekend, good night❣️🙇‍♀️🥱🛌🌛
