April 2, 2026 @ 19:24 Good evening family & friends❣️ Well we were up and out of here REALLY early today, Pete's surgery went well and he's not in any pain. We came home, had a light meal, and he went to bed. I started working on my site - now that it's running again - and ended up sleeping in my chair for a couple of hours. Other than that, and eating a 2nd meal later, I've been working on this site. There is a lot of stuff messed up, mostly from the troubleshooting I had been doing - disabling/enabling plugsins and losing my settings - and how I've been making my page needs to change again anyway. I will likely start working on a version 3 to which I can change over at some point in the future that has the same type of content in a different format. Or, I can just archive and delete a section of this page every few months. Keep it all in the present. I don't know, still figuring it all out. BUT I have archived and then deleted everything on this page that is before Jan 1, 2026 for now, which I think will buy me a little time.
Anyway, we are dogsitting so have 3 doggos here now, amazing how much our little house shrinks when a 3rd dog nearly Maisie's size joins the pack! She's going home tomorrow but she's a real sweetheart!
If you've been with me for a while you know that I take Good Friday very seriously, so won't be posting anything that isn't appropriate for the solemnity of the day. But I WILL be posting. So I will see you tomorrow...good night❣️🙇‍♀️🥱🛌🌛

April 1, 2026 @ 19:43 Good evening family & friends❣️ Well it was a long and tiring day but here we are. I got up early to work on this site - specifically this page - before we had to get out and do the things we didn't get done yesterday in the pouring rain and thunderstorms. Sam's Club shopping done for another month; we really wanted to get it done last week as it tends to be much busier the first part of the month, but it wasn't really too bad today. Stopped for lunch at a place I've wanted to go to since it opened, then went to Jack's (butcher/produce), then went to Walmart for the last 2 things on our list that we couldn't get anywhere else. Which I would have done if there was any way. Once we got home, got everything portioned out, rewrapped, and put away, I made a pot of dog food (today's is pork chunks, fish, chicken livers, eggs, rolled oats, several kinds of vegetables, blueberries, flax, and bone meal) which is just about done. And so am I hahaha! I will try to get to sleep early tonight, Pete is having a surgery in the morning in Midland so I will have to be up and at 'em before dawn. I likely won't be online until afterward except maybe to check email on my tablet or something. Anyway, I will do a post about what's been going on with this page and what changes I will have to make to prevent future problems...but that's for another day. April 1, 2026: I am hoping this is the last update that I feel I have to do this way. We have things that need to get done today but I did get up early and work on this site and I THINK it's really fixed this time? MARCH 31: Though I have errands today (Sam's Club, pet store mainly), the plan is to cut all of my 2025 content from the chia.owly.net page and put it into a separate "archive" file. I will then (not today I'm sure) only have approx 3 months to work with. In addition, as time goes on, I need to simplify as there are so many posts/updates on that page, each of them having a ton of code and data. So lots of the colors and little pretties and other flotsam and jetsam, going back to Jan. and then onward, won't be "clogging up the pipes". Or, in the support tech's words, "Your index page is extremely large and that causes the excessive memory usage...[some suggestions I don't yet understand, and]...I strongly recommend that you reduce the number of posts this page contains." So that's my plan, starting by reducing the number of posts on the page as I described above. Then I can start updating again and taking the time and brain effort for the "good stuff" (dailies, Don's posts, music, etc.) while I do the rest. And so it goes...

Trouble In Paradise Again!
After yesterday's apparent success, this morning I was unable to work on my main site page again. Finally late in the afternoon, after trying everything I could find online, I turned to my (wonderful!) host's tech support. They got me up and running again but it is very temporary; this page needs an overhaul. And I will be working on this page every chance I can this week, or until I get done what I need to do.

Good afternoon...apparently I can't do anything on my site today, I'm getting ominous messages like "There has been a critical error on this website" and "503 Service Unavailable"...it's all way above my head at the moment - as are most things 😒 - so until I can find a web developer (I think that's what I need?)
