if you aren't using 24-hour time, why?
really, it's fantastic
easier to do math with, better across timezones, and simple to use at a glance
no more "7 in the morning, or 7 at night?", just 7 or 19...
I find it ironic that we went so abstract about date and time that we no longer match this stuff with celestial bodies' positions really. I heard new generations no longer interpret analog clock and I think there's a reason for all that; all that has been too complicated. If you look deeper, at any normal time/date library source code—that just nuts; it's always a confusing thing with weird astronomical constants.
24-hour clock has been a normal thing in my culture, but I've gone further and been literally using 24-hour clock *without minutes*, so 02:00 PM for me is 14.0h and 02:30 PM is 14.5h. It's easier to calculate deltas with this but hard to translate to exact normie hours + minutes.
