I'm against shifting as well.
However I would prefer using 'bits' and sats more.
It is intuitive to have
1 BTC =1,000,000 bits
and
1 bit = 100 sats
That way it clicks a lot easier in my head whe...
Nobody will ever use bits. It’s been tried for 15 years.
