I'm jealous of your rain. We haven't gotten hardly any snow or rain this winter and it has been very warm for Wyoming. This year's fire season is going to be really bad and officials are already quietly talking about major water rationing this summer. I'm praying for one of our insane spring snows (once every 3-10 years) where we get 2+ feet of heavy, wet snow.

I'm also a bit sensitive about fires, having lost my home in a 60+ mph wind fueled fire just over 10 years ago. We did rebuild very fire resistant. Brick and steel outside, steel roof, steel garage door, cement decks and side walks. I wanted a moat, but that wasn't practical.
