Even minor Linux kernel LTS revisions bring many severe regressions including memory corruption bugs caught by hardware memory tagging.

6.12 will be the main kernel branch used until 6.18 is adequately stabilized. We could already use it but for Pixels we want to benefit from their far larger testing and 17 QPR2 is when they're moving.
