Kind of different, simpler. It's just like tipping a crypto address. The tips aren't visible on Nostr posts. Just makes it a little more convenient because you can bring up their address by clicking on the tip button on their notes.

You just need to use a Nostr client that supports it. Dark Wisp, Ditto, Imwald, Amethyst, Posterplace, and Nosmero support both Lightning and Monero. Glowstr is Monero only tipping.
