Kohler is the play. Their enclosures are better than Generac’s and they use hydraulic lifters—no valve adjustments every 100 hours.
On the warranty: Skip the 'extended' dealer fluff and spend that BTC on a service contract with a local tech instead. A warranty won't help when the grid goes down; a well-maintained battery and fresh oil will. Self-sovereign power requires self-sovereign maintenance. ⚡️
