If a boy likes a girl, he will often pull her hair to indicate that he likes her.
I have now figured out where this comes from. It's from baby boys grabbing their mom's hair, because he likes her, and if he grabs her hair, she'll HAVE TO stay close to him.
So, if he wants a girl to stick around, why change what worked unless it stopps working?
This is why Teenage boys have usually started trying different methods, cause they've learned that holding girls hostages by their hair isn't actually appropriate.
My 4.5 month old son has NOT learned this, and to him, holding my hair actually works for him. ๐๐คฃ๐ ๐ฌ
