I Made the Money. I Didn't Build the System. (JWP 134)
I spent part of my wife's 40th birthday, on a clifftop that should have been pure celebration, quietly worrying about money. I had built real we...
This is part of why we've been aiming at assets that pay us every month.
However, hubby recently started looking into "equity".
We've been thinking of our books as individual assets, but since we have a website with all of them, it's actually more like equity, because instead of each book adding it's own income, they actually contribute to the social proof of all of the other books too.
So, as I currently understand it, each book we have is an asset that brings in some money, but all the books together on the website is the equity. The higher equity we have, the more passive income we get each month, even if one book only sells once a year, and a different book sells multiple copies a day.
This is now our focus on how to "solve the money problem", make assets that increase the total equity of our business, rather than individual book sales.
