Like any important issue, it is politicized. The mining business is not largely about Bitcoin. It’s about money and cheap energy. That’s why a lot of these companies pivot to AI data centers now. Not saying this research is wrong, I like Bitcoin. The reason these energy concerns are raised is propaganda and misinformation. People do not value Bitcoin, do not understand it, or want it to disappear. That’s the main thing here.
