https://newdiscourses.com/tftw-queer-v/The image I have in my mind of this word used as a verb goes like this: someone has just skillfully and carefully painted a beautiful painting, with clean lines, bright contrasting colors, brilliant uses of light and geometry to draw the onlooker's eye to the 'main point' of the scene. Attention to proportion and perspective bring out a hint of three dimensions. The clean lines (ahem) delineate one object from another. It has a certain resonance with reality; art has an order.
Another comes along and, with his/her/its/xher unskilled monkey-paws, angrily blurs all the lines, muddying light and dark, mixing the colors into some filth-like color of brown, flattening the perspective, leaving a mess of indistinct disordered one-dimensional nothing.
To "queer," means "to ruin."
