That said...logging in with google involves multifactor authentication usually.

Setting up a nostr signer initially is a little trickier perhaps (or at least novel), but in my experience actually signing in with them is mostly clicking "sign in with extension" or "sign in with amber" and then clicking "allow" (and maybe specifying how long you're allowing for).

I'm no big fan of Primal but I expect someone onboarding with Primal and then using it as a signer may actually be easier than logging in with Google. Might need to do some "market testing" of that hypothesis though.

100% I am glad Dark Wisp exists. Wisp is so clean, but it feels dirty with the Google login. Dark Wisp the Redeemer!

The anti amber / pro Google stand is really strange from the Webmaster. It's trivial to use amber (it seems it's complicated implement and maintain though), but he doesn't see any value in a nsec which can explain his position. Hopefully Dark Wisp will continue to exist otherwise Amethyst Yakihonne ...
