I like dandelions. They’re beautiful and edible. I don’t understand people who poison their soil to get rid of them. Just mow them if you don’t like them.

Dandelions actually help correct imbalances in soil. Their long tap root will penetrated compacted soils and will bring nutrients, especially calcium to the upper layers of the soil. If you see an abundance of dandelions it’s often indicative of compacted soil that is low in calcium.
