@nprofile1q... i'm kind of annoyed at the portals cuz we had a wayland proposal for an equally powerful api in wayland floating around, which nobody really gave attention

and around the time global shortcuts got in portals, i also had picked up that proposal and improved it, some discussion happened, then i got too busy

still have more improvements to do to it, but that won't come soon as well, i'm overloaded
