This isn't the traffic though? Many (not all) VPN providers store customer information and they know your IP and the IP you're visiting.

When you use a VPN, you merely send all your traffic through your ISP to another entity, and that entity gets to see all your traffic. I've always assumed 95% of VPN services are 3 letter honeypots. I refuse to use.
