XMR is not a shitcoin. It is the actual literal fulfillment of Satoshi’s vision and desires for a currency free of state manipulation. Satoshi literally said of ledger privacy, exact quote, “If a solution was found, a much better, easier, more convenient implementation of Bitcoin would be possible.”

In the same thread he describes a ring signature scheme! He wasn’t talking about L2 of any sort. Not a sidechain. Not merge mining. Satoshi thought that privacy should be on the base layer. But Core is captured by a multitude of people who want ledger transparency, Saylor and Blackrock, who say that it would be bad for institutional centralization for Bitcoin to adopt ledger privacy.

Monero means money. Until Core’s current subversives are fired and prioritizing implementing privacy by default, Monero is the real Bitcoin. Most everything else is financial spyware, and a shitcoin.
