Change is the only constant. So the art of life, or at least a large part of it, is how to deal with change. Or maybe more accurately: how to get better at dealing with change.

I would suggest the contemplative Christian response to change is to simply surrender everything to the Great Mystery.
God is God; we are not God; All change is part of the Mystery and to accept it is to accept this reality.
