@nprofile1q... It's just the (very large) RubyString class in JRuby (jruby/jruby). It might have finished the task eventually, but it was taking far too long and doing it the slowest way possible (moving a method or two at a time from abstract to concrete). This was GPT-5.3-Codex FWIW.
