I am not Catholic. I hold to Protestant Reformed confessions. I have real theological disagreements with the Bishop of Rome. That is not what this is about.
A sitting president just publicly berated ...
He can't hurt his own image any more. Nobody takes his words seriously, so he won't hurt USA either. There's nothing to lose, probably there's something to gain. Some distraction or whatever. So why not?
