The spiritual and altruistic prefer to see Bitcoin prioritized as a weapon of freedom.
The materialistic investor prefer to see Bitcoin as an investment vehicle.
The unintended consequence of Bitcoin as a tool for freedom would have already ensured an enormous level of investment returns, but the Bitcoin investors act from a place of fragility and needed to push for KYC, regulatory clarity and other anti-freedom measures to try and achieve their own selfish goals.
The unintended consequence for the investors pushing for corporate and government capture, is that without freedom Bitcoin will likely fail and have no value.
