“We delete customer info in 90 days” and yet 5 years after my purchase I just an email from Coinkite about this 🤡 https://npub1lrnvvs6z78s9yjqxxr38uyqkmn34lsaxznnqgd877j4z2qej3j5s09qnw5.blosso...

I assumed that they meant other details - name, address, order - but not email.

In any case, since they did have emails: WHY DID THEY WAIT THREE DAYS TO SEND THIS MESSAGE?!

Everyone in the space is desperately trying to reach anyone who has a Coldcard, who may have a Coldcard, who may have thought about maybe having a Coldcard ... and all along they had the best way to reach everyone who might be affected?!

Exactly. Crazy that they waited. And I imagine you’re right, but if that’s what they meant then that’s what NVK should have said instead of repeating the claim that they keep no user info.

Government and corporations sit on info for days, prioritizing control over user safety, typical bureaucratic cowardice.
