Those numbers would mean nothing. Also, the only way to make them mean something would be to attach downloads to peoples npubs, which no one should do, that is how you get socially engineered into loosing all your bitcoin

that's your opinion. we're investing time in building apps. good to know how many users utilizing it in the case we need to keep building or move on to better things just like satoshi

Not necessary that it be designed liked that, zapstore has their own blossom server, they could just publish how many times the apks were downloaded from it.
