My feeling is that in 50+ years we'll have shifted to a world so abundant that money & hence Bitcoinis is not required.

However, marginally free energy with no decentralised layer of value transfer (money) underneath it will just turn into another “centralis-able” weapon for those that control the money and therefore everyone’s time and attention.
I have come to see that the decentralised “money” layer MUST come first. So that the benefits of marginally free energy can be fully distributed to humanity.
This is why Bitcoin is so important. At least that’s been my evolving insight.
It strikes me that we havnt had this “free energy” breakthrough yet, PRECISELY because we are not ready. Not ready to house it in a civilisational container that it needs to take us to the next level 🧬
