The problem is that the attitude pours over into firms that aren't businesses and aren't infiltrated so to speak. It takes very special men to keep their eye on the prize, play their respective roles, and not infight.

Often in partnerships, llcs, small corps, I also see the "my job is more important" or "I'm doing more work" bullshit. I've been fairly successful when doing "corporate counseling", but my role is just advisor / confidant, and I accept that. I'm willing to let someone else call the shots, though I respectfully reserve the right to call him a fucking idiot. I'll give praise when due too.

Remember here though, that I'm using the idea of a firm very loosely.
