I don't know how many of you follow Jason Lowery, the guy who wrote Softwar. He's been theorizing for years and mostly gets discounted for "not making sense" but I think he is spot on with his thinking here.

Nah, this is a good example of not making sense. Single-purpose PoW tokens will be part of the bot filtering system, not Bitcoin. If the tokens double as everyday currency like Bitcoin, the authorities can just give the bots extra funding.

I saw this too and also found it interesting. I personally loved reading Softwar and consider it one of my favorite books about Bitcoin. I find it to be a very misunderstood work.
