@nprofile1q... The breakage, in my experience, is that a core belief in what “most people” are like, is soundly refuted in a way that makes you question everything you thought you knew. Knowing both that we have people who *like* Trump’s Presidency, and people who don’t vote because “it doesn’t matter” nearly broke me. It took a lot of self examination and discussion to come back from the edge of that one. 2/2
