Berthold was such a fan of these samples they reprised them in at least two subsequent booklets (unfortunately, without credit). Joseph Tscherkassky (1879–1958), a Ukrainian typefounder who became manager of the Oriental Department at the foundry, copied some spreads nearly wholesale, yet adapted for another script.
