Why do websites like Scribd exist? They allow you to upload a text file and make it show up in all search engines, but charge a membership fee for anyone who wants to read it.

Agreed! I'm not sure if nostr can fix this because for archival purpose I find most relays to be unreliable. Maybe make a partnership with archive.org for them to run a archival relay.
